About me

Dear visitor,
my full name is Alkistis Geropoulos. I was named after a princess of ancient greek mythology. 

I am 21 years old. I 

currently live in Cardiff, Wales, where I do my Masters in Psychiatry at Cardiff University. In the meanwhile, I spent most of my "precious" time studying at cool cafes, playing my guitar, singing, cooking, and whenever I get a chance I go traveling.

Johnny's sister

I've chosen the name Johnny's Sister, as my older brother Johnny has always been a great mentor. Ever since I was little I used to introduce myself as Johnny's Sister so I thought it was worth entitling me this way. 

                                         My hometown

I was born in a beautiful town called Volos, situated in the centre of Greece. My hometown offers a great environment to grow up as well as a variety of landscapes. Take a look.

To get you orientated-->

    In winter we go skiing in our small skiing centre in mount Pelion.

In spring we take the old train of Moutzouris for a tour around the mountain's villages.

And in summer we go swimming in the crystal beaches of the Aegean Sea.

Living in England

From an early age I had realized I loved traveling and getting to know other cultures. My interest in Psychology had become apparent and I was determined to study it. When I became 17 years old, I decided to study abroad, and English Universities were at the top of my selection. In September 2009, I got into Oxford Brookes University where I was too lucky to be taught by wonderful professors, make fantastic friends and have the experience of a lifetime.

and finally graduate in June 2012.

And made mum and dad happy!

Interests

I love traveling, playing my guitar and singing, taking pictures (even with my iPhone), meeting people, learning about new cultures and their histories, cooking Greek food, reading books, drinking tea and eating cake, going to the theatre, designing interiors, designing and crafting jewelry, dress in my own way,conducting academic research (oh yes!) but most of all I enjoy telling stories.
